I had read a blog of a girl who has lost her fiance in the battle field ... here is her writing about her beloved -
I was 19 and you were 23. You were serving at an unit near my home. I don't know what happened to us as we exchanged looks at the raising day of your unit. The next very moment you came closer by and asked me if I was interested in dancing with you. I said yes, and off we went to the dance floor. As we started dancing romantic songs started playing,you caught me by my waist and I by your shoulder. We started talking and your constant staring at me made me blush. After the dance and dinner got over,it was time for me to leave but then you asked my number. I gave you mine and everyday we started talking to each other. The day came for you that you got transferred. The night before you left, you told me that you fell in love the very first day you saw me. I cried because you were going far away from me. We were in two different states but kept in touch. Few years later we got engaged. After our engagement you had to leave for the terror stroked Kashmir, promising that you would be back on our wedding day. I was eagerly waiting for the day to come. One day a Phone came from your regiment saying that you became a martyr in the battle ground. I cried my heart out but then had to be strong because I was mentally aware that this can happen. Baby,I know wherever you are watching me write this. I just want to tell you that I love you. And miss you a lot.

That was very heart touching and brought tears in eyes ... I felt to write something about her feelings ... This is my small tribute to that soldier and may their love story will live forever ...

door se dekh rahe the tum mujhko ,
kuch der yun beeti ,
ek samay tum samne aayein ,
chupke se kehne lage -
"mujhe dance nehin aata ,
par kya tum mere sath dance karogi ?"

tumhare badhte haathon ko tham liya .
Us din koi music nehin thi ,
na aur koi the ,
sirf aur sirf barish ki dhoon thi ,
aur usme hum dono ke tedhe medhe kadam thirak rahe the ,

ek doosre ke ankhon me the gum ,
tum mujhe dekh rahe the ,
main tumhari nazron se sharmake chhup rehi thi .
Phir aaya ekroz ,
jab tumne kiya izhar ,
usroz tumne kaha tha -
"pehli bar dekhte hi mujhe ho gaya tha tumse pyar ,
kya tum meri banogi !"
main ro padi thi ,
itni khushiya kahan rakhu samajh nehin paa rehi thi ,
bas sadh heela payi thi .
Par desh bula rahe the tumhe ,
apne kartavya nibhane chale the tum ,
kar gaye mujhse wada laut aane ka ,
mujhe yakeen tha tum zaroor aaoge ,
isiliye dulhan ke livaas pehne
kar rehi thi tumhare aane ka intezar ,
kab aaoge tum !
bharoge meri maang !
raasta tumhari tak rehi thi bar bar .
Wada nibhaya tumne ,
usi din wapas aayein ,
mujhe sindoor pehnane nehin ,
apne kafan par chadar chadhane ,
jane se pehle yehi tha tumhari akhri khwaish ,
ke ek bar tum mujhe dulhan bane dekh sako ,
dekho , jee bhar ke dekho mujhe ,
dulhan ke roop me khub saji hoon aaj ,
maine apni baat rakhi ,
tum kaise apne baaton se mukar gaye !
aise kaise chale gaye !
tum nehin toh main kaise rahoon ,
kaise tumko bhool pate !
Rimjhim barish me aaj bhi kadam dagmagati hai ,
ankhein bhar bhar aati hai ,
koi haath mere odh nehi badhta ,
kano me aake chupke se nehi kehte -
"mujhe dance nehin aata" .........
